Concert Band is designed as both a performing class and a training group. Concert Band performs as a group for several concerts throughout the year. This course is designed primarily for the freshman band musician and will focus on creating a unified sound and a strong foundation in performance fundamentals. Ninth-grade musicians from all ability levels will find scaffolded instruction that allows them to improve and become contributing members to their first high school ensemble class.
