Band and Orchestra
There is a robust instrumental music program at MVHS. There are several concerts throughout the year. Some are free, while others require a ticket.
Orchestra Camp
Our first Orchestra Retreat is happening this semester! String players will have the opportunity to rehearse, do team building activities, attend workshops, and enjoy each others' company. The Retreat will be held at the Camp Campbell YMCA in Boulder Creek. Please refer to your inbox for detailed itinerary information.
Instrumental Concerts
There are various instrumental concerts throughout the school year. There's usually one in the Fall, Winter, and Spring.
Chamber Concerts
These student-run concerts in November and May showcase Spartan musical talent! Our MVHS student musicians present a program of solos, duets and small ensembles in a range of musical genres. Sample program from a recent Chamber concert.
Spaghetti & Strings
Come to MVHS to enjoy some pasta and be entertained by the String Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, and some surprise ensembles. Hopefully coming back in 2021!
